At Ardentia 2026: Privacy & AI Governance Conference, organized by Ardent Privacy, Day 2 focused on transforming privacy discussions into real-world capability. While one track explored strategic perspectives on privacy and AI governance, Track 2 – Junoon was dedicated to practical learning through the Ardent Certified Privacy Technologist (ACPT) Training and Certification.

The ACPT program was designed as a practical, hands-on training for implementing the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 ([DPDPA](https://www.ardentprivacy.ai/india-digital-personal-data-protection-act/)) in real organizational and technology environments. Rather than focusing only on theoretical aspects of regulation, the training enabled participants to understand how DPDPA requirements can be operationalized through structured processes, privacy technologies, and governance workflows.

### Bridging Privacy Regulations with Technology Implementation

As organizations across India prepare to implement the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, one of the biggest challenges is translating regulatory requirements into operational systems.

The ACPT training addressed this gap by demonstrating how privacy compliance can be implemented through technology-driven frameworks and structured operational processes. Participants gained insights into how legal obligations map to technology environments, internal workflows, and governance practices.

Through interactive sessions and demonstrations, the training emphasized privacy engineering and practical implementation, helping professionals understand how to embed privacy controls within their systems and processes.

### Key Areas Covered in the ACPT Hands-on Training

The training provided participants with practical exposure to the core components required for effective DPDPA implementation.

**1) Privacy Regulations (DPDPA) & Technology Operations Overview**

Participants explored how DPDPA requirements align with technology operations and organizational processes, helping bridge the gap between regulatory expectations and system-level implementation.

**2) Conducting DPIAs with Assessment Manager**

[Data Protection Impact Assessments ](https://www.ardentprivacy.ai/data-protection-impact-assessment/) (DPIAs) are a critical element of risk management in privacy programs. Participants learned how to structure and conduct DPIAs using a systematic assessment approach.

**3) Data Discovery & Intelligence**

Organizations must first understand where personal data resides. This session focused on methods for discovering and mapping sensitive data across digital environments to enable stronger governance and risk management.

**4) Data Principal Request Management**

The training demonstrated how organizations can design workflows to efficiently manage Data Principal rights, including requests for access, correction, and deletion.

**5) Unified Consent Management**

Participants explored how centralized [consent management](https://www.ardentprivacy.ai/consent-management/) frameworks can help organizations capture, manage, and track consent in a structured and auditable manner.

**6) Data Breach Management**

Effective breach response mechanisms are essential for compliance. The training covered how organizations can establish structured incident management processes and generate audit-ready breach reports.

**7) Real-World Use Cases and Practical Scenarios**

Participants worked through real implementation scenarios, helping them understand how privacy requirements can be integrated into everyday operational and technology environments.

### Building Real Implementation Capability

Track Junoon truly lived up to its name by focusing on building practical skills for privacy technologists and compliance professionals. The sessions moved beyond theory and emphasized how organizations can implement privacy requirements through practical systems, structured workflows, and operational readiness.

This hands-on approach highlighted a key message:

Effective DPDPA compliance requires the combination of governance, technology enablement, and operational capability.

Participants left the training with a deeper understanding of how to integrate privacy controls into their systems and support their organizations in building sustainable privacy programs.

### Expert-Led Training

The ACPT training sessions were led by experienced professionals including Sushil Raverkar and Sakshi Agrawal, who shared valuable insights and real-world implementation perspectives.

Their sessions combined regulatory understanding with practical demonstrations, ensuring that participants could clearly see how privacy principles translate into operational processes.

### Conclusion

The Ardent Certified Privacy Technologist (ACPT) Training at Ardentia 2026 demonstrated how privacy education can move beyond theory and become a practical, hands-on pathway for implementing the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023\.

By focusing on real-world workflows, technology frameworks, and operational readiness, the training equipped participants with the skills needed to transform regulatory requirements into actionable privacy controls.

Initiatives like ACPT highlight the importance of building privacy technologists who can implement privacy by design and operationalize DPDPA effectively within modern technology environments.

Through Ardentia 2026, Ardent Privacy continues to strengthen the ecosystem of professionals committed to building a responsible and privacy-first digital future.
