# Data Principal Rights Under DPDPA: What Every Data Fiduciary Needs to Know

The Digital Personal Data Protection Act ([DPDPA](https://www.ardentprivacy.ai/india-digital-personal-data-protection-act/)), 2023 empowers individuals, known as Data Principals, with specific rights over their personal data. - Right to Nominate to exercise their rights under specified circumstances.
